Morocco... in Pictures

I've been looking through my blog and noticed that I have too many words and am lacking in pictures. So all you get to know is that Morocco was amazing. It is a must see place that I can't wait to go to again. So here is my trip... in pictures

My first glimpse of this beautiful country, can't wait to go back

 Wait, we have money?

Saying that I had fun was an understatement. The food was so amazing and authentic, unlike anything else and the hostel ummm amazing, I paid super cheap to stay in a super nice hotel where I was served and pampered.

On to the next

I know I don't post as much as I should be posting but I've just been putting off. I do finally have a good hour where I thought I could sit down here in my bed and write to you all...

There is never a time more than now that I miss home. It has started to hit me that I will miss the summer with all of my friends. I can't get into trouble in the good Cincinnati. I will be missing Dave Matthews and many country concerts that I love to DD. (It's so entertaining). I'm going to miss late nights at Mcdonalds smoking cigarettes talking about nothing but life and the greatest music. But It is true that I will be in Europe more than likely traveling with my best friends and making even more friends than I already have.  But now it seems that we must speak of the last adventure I had. Going to southern Spain and as many of you know, Morocco.

AndalucĂa started monday morning at 8 AM! I was way to tired and proceeded to fall asleep on Colin's lap like every other bus ride. We drove for about four hours before finding ourselves in Cordoba. Cordoba is a city that is famous for the mosque/cathedral. It is if I am saying this correct, it was first built as a mosque when the Moors occupied spain and then a cathedral was built in the center of it. After visiting the mosque/cathedral for the afternoon, we were on our way to sevilla. Everyone was starving and personally my stomach was eating itself. As soon as we were on the bus i was asleep on colin's lap again.

Once in Sevilla, Abby colin and I went and got some tapas. Don't tell anyone hear in Valencia but they were so much bigger and better than the tapas here. While in Sevilla we toured a cool castle called the alcazar and the big spanish square where Star wars was filmed. We also toured the third largest cathedral in the world. It was beautiful but I still thought that St. Paul's cathedral in London was so much prettier, sorry spain. The following morning we were off to granada. I loved granada. That night a group of eight of us went to get dinner. We found a chinese restaurant that had a menu del dia for 6.75 and they took cheques, aka a lot of food for free. Wednesday we spent the day at the alhambra. A beautiful place that is full of history and beautiful views. I couldn't get over all the different types of tiles and the different designs. The architecture screamed middle eastern and was glorious. The place is huge and we had to have been there for four hours about. We would leave one little section and the next section just kept going and was more beautiful. That night we went to a flamenco show. If you remember I went to one in Madrid as well. This one was good but i think Madrid was a little better. Thursday Colin and i LEFT FOR mOROCCO. I don't want this post to be too long so stay tuned for the next post on Morocco and see where my next adventures will be taking me!! miss everyone back home, see you soon.
